For all the novices out there who aren't familiar with how to do a correct pushup let's start with the fundamentals and doing them from our knees.
Go into a planking position with your knees on the floor covering and also as close with each other as possible. Your hands must be directly under your shoulders and also shoulder width apart.
Next, elevate your feet and with your back straight, lower your body to the floor covering. Bend at the elbows and lower your body right until your upper body comes within inches of the mat and drive back up. Repeat those pushups for as many reps as you can or at the very least 10 reps and also do 3 total sets.
Now, for an advanced pushup, enter an extended plank position with your feet close with each other. Your hands should be shoulder width apart and lower your frame to as near to the floor covering as feasible without laying on it so you get that stretch in your upper body and drive it back up concentrating on your tricep.
Do 10 repetitions or as many as you can do to start as well as do 3 sets. Progressively build on the number of reps and sets you can do each time on push up day.
