FCA filed an application with the EPA and CARB for diesel certification for its 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee and Ram 1500 vehicles. If approved, the new software should comply with regulations. FCA also plans to fit the updated software to the 2014-2016 model year vehicles that came under the scrutiny of the regulatory agencies.
